SMS Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 1, 2026
Striking Music offers an optional text messaging (SMS) program to keep parents and guardians informed about lesson scheduling, monthly statements, and important updates. By opting in to receive text messages, you agree to the following terms.
1. Program Description
The Striking Music SMS program provides the following types of messages to enrolled families:
- Monthly lesson statements and payment summaries
- Lesson scheduling changes, reschedules, and confirmations
- Important reminders and updates related to your student's lessons
This is a transactional messaging program. We do not send promotional or marketing messages via SMS.
2. Opt-In / Consent
Consent to receive text messages from Striking Music is collected through our online SMS Consent Form or in person during lesson enrollment. When opting in, you will be informed:
"I agree to receive text messages from Striking Music regarding lesson scheduling, monthly statements, and important updates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is approximately 1–4 per month. I can opt out at any time by replying STOP."
By submitting the consent form or agreeing in person to receive text messages, you authorize Striking Music to send SMS messages to the phone number you provide. Consent is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of enrollment or service.
Your consent and phone number information will not be shared with or sold to any third party at any time.
You may opt in at any time by completing the SMS Consent Form on our website.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your lesson schedule. Typical frequency is 1–4 messages per month. Message volume may occasionally increase during scheduling changes or at the beginning/end of a semester.
4. Opt-Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Striking Music. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will confirm your removal and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. You may also contact the instructor directly at [email protected] to opt out.
5. Help
For help or questions about the SMS program, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at [email protected].
